Just stopping in and catching up on so many of the back posts here I've missed in the past months (arghh!)..it's lovely seeing your beautiful home and you guys enjoying it so much :) Wow, I can relate to your happiness when your kids were able to be with you all at the same time that weekend...every time my daughter and I get time together, it's an unexplainable deep happiness for me. Your kids look like they're really great!

I chuckled over the cucumber/zucchini post...heehee. Thank you for your encouraging words you leave me regularly, Paulette...they really mean a lot. As for the kombucha, I appreciate your mentioning that. We've never yet had a bad experience with it, but I've not drunk any for several months and have let my scoby go dormant for the time being until I get my blood sugars to optimum level and am taking no prescription meds. I was concerned there might be too many unknowns with possible interactions, or maybe just sensitivities I'm unaware of at this point. I've scaled my eating down to very simple as well till my body can heal...don't want to overload it and counteract the healing. I have an appmt with an ear specialist early next week, if I can get my IDs and insurance on track since they were among my wallet stuff stolen when the truck was taken this morning. Blah blah blah :) When my daughter helped us both by driving us back home an hour from work this morning, riding in the backseat I remembered allllllll those times I played chauffeur for her, and I just felt nothing but gratefulness that the three of us were together. A stolen vehicle's a loss, but not a tragedy. Thanks so much for your prayers and encouragement...it does more than you know in keeping my mind focused on the real priorities.

I'm so happy you're able to ENJOY the fruits of alllllllll that anticipation, inconvenience, and hard work now at your homestead. LOVED LOVED LOVED seeing your beautiful canned goods, gathering with friends, being with your kids. Aren't we both so blessed? :)

Thank you again :)
